New Website - European B2B & Manufacturing Division
Design and development of a multi-market B2B web presence for Shutters Factory SRL — the Romanian manufacturing facility supplying plantation shutters across Europe. Four country-specific websites built on Next.js and Cloudflare, with i18n support for the Dutch and Belgian markets.
The brief
This case study covers the B2B / European Manufacturing division of Shutters Factory — the trade-facing side of the business. A separate case study covers the Retail / B2C division operating in the UK market.
Shutters Factory SRL is the Romanian manufacturing facility behind the Shutters Factory group — the production hub where plantation shutters are made and from which finished product is supplied to trade partners and distributors across Europe. As the company expanded its B2B reach into new European markets, it needed a web presence that could serve each market individually while maintaining a consistent, professional brand identity across all of them.
We were engaged to design, build and manage that multi-market presence — four country-specific websites, each tailored to its local audience, all built on the same modern stack and held to the same visual standard.
The websites

shuttersfactory.ro — Romanian manufacturing plant
The primary website for the Romanian facility, serving as the operational and corporate home of the manufacturing division. Positioned for trade partners and prospective B2B clients who want to understand the production capability, product range and supply chain behind the Shutters Factory name.
shuttersfactory.nl — Netherlands trade market
A dedicated B2B website for the Dutch market, targeting interior contractors, fit-out specialists and trade distributors in the Netherlands. Built with full multilingual support using an i18n module, serving content in both English and Dutch to reach a multicultural professional audience.
shuttersfactory.be — Belgium trade market
The Belgian counterpart, structured identically to the Dutch site and equally multilingual — serving content in English, Dutch and French to reflect the linguistic reality of the Belgian market and maximise reach across both language communities.
shuttersfactory.ie — Ireland trade market
A dedicated B2B website for the Irish market, targeting trade partners and contractors in Ireland. Single-language, consistent with the broader brand, and positioned as a natural extension of the group’s existing UK presence.
Technical approach

All four websites are built on Next.js with React, deployed on Cloudflare’s edge network. The choice of stack was deliberate:
- Consistent codebase. A shared architecture across all four sites means updates, design changes and new features can be rolled out uniformly — reducing maintenance overhead and ensuring brand consistency is never an afterthought.
- Edge performance. Cloudflare serves each site from the location closest to the visitor, ensuring fast load times across all four markets regardless of where the request originates.
- Internationalisation. The .nl and .be sites use i18n modules to serve fully translated content per language — not machine-translated copy, but properly localised pages that reflect the language and conventions of each target audience.
- Visual consistency. All four sites share the same design language, component library and brand standards as the UK retail site — reinforcing the Shutters Factory identity as a coherent, professional group across every market it operates in.
A group-wide digital presence
Taken together with the UK retail site, the Shutters Factory group now has a coordinated digital presence across five domains and four countries — each site purpose-built for its market, all maintained to the same standard, and all traceable back to a single, consistent brand. It is a good illustration of how a manufacturing business with European ambitions can use a well-structured web presence to open doors in new markets without the overhead of a local agency in each one.
